Conservation Cooperative Science Coordinator is a biologist and/or physical
scientist, who wears multiple hats, representing the Desert LCC as well as the
US Fish and Wildlife Service. You will work hand-in-glove with the Desert LCC
Coordinator, a Bureau of Reclamation employee. You will join a collaborative
team of professionals and work within a multi-partnership context to help the
LCC achieve its collective mission and goals. Science Applications is a
non-regulatory program, about 6 years old, whose goal is to build science
capacity and capability within the Service and with partners to effectively and
collaboratively address landscape-scale stressors, including climate change,
that affect wildlife and other natural resources.  Your primary role will
be to collaboratively develop, maintain and advance a strategic,
landscape-scale partnership-driven approach to integrate fish, wildlife and
