This message may be of interest to MPWG members. The Institute for the Preservation of Medical Traditions is looking for a new home where would it continue to be curated and available for use to students and scholars. From their website:

**Our Collection is Looking for a New Home (https://medicaltraditions.org/)

Over the past 50 years, Alain Touwaide, joined by Emanuela Appetiti at some point of his itinerary through research and the world, has assembled a unique library on the history of medicine and science in the ancient Mediterranean World, with a particular focus on botany, medicinal plants, and therapeutics. Since its foundation in 2007, the Institute for the Preservation of Medical Traditions has had the privilege to promote this library and the other documentary collections compiled by Alain and Emanuela, and to make them accessible to scholars and scientists in all disciplinary fields, from all over the world, and at any stage of their career. With time passing, Alain and Emanuela feel that the moment has come for them to pass the torch to the next generation and to transfer their library and all their collections to an institution willing to acquire them, to accrue them as necessary and, more than anything, make them available for future research as they did.

Please share through your networks and contact Emanuela and Alain directly if you have any suggestions (ceo at medicaltraditions.org).
