What will you learn?
Join FAO North America for a timely panel discussion on the film Gather, which shows an intimate portrait of the growing movement amongst Native Americans to reclaim their food sovereignty. With your registration, you will receive a free link and password on September 4 to watch the film anytime between September 4 - 9.

The discussion will feature insights from the film director and featured Indigenous figures from the film. Panelists will share their insights on the timely and critical nature of Indigenous peoples' knowledge, languages, cultures, innovation, and leadership as Native communities build up their traditional food systems across North America.

Gather follows Nephi Craig, a chef from the White Mountain Apache Nation (Arizona), opening an indigenous café as a nutritional recovery clinic; Elsie Dubray, a young scientist from the Cheyenne River Sioux Nation (South Dakota), conducting landmark studies on bison; and the Ancestral Guard, a group of environmental activists from the Yurok Nation (Northern California), trying to save the Klamath river.
