The Conference "Medical Traditions for the 21st Century" will be
held at the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, University of
California, Los Angeles, on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February, 2016.

The Conference focuses on the traditional knowledge (both written and
oral) of the therapeutic uses of plants and extends this study to a
global level. By bringing together specialists from some of the many
different fields involved in the study of medical traditions, it aims to
foster cross-disciplinary studies, particularly between medicine and the
humanities.
