Below is class description.



"Mycofacilitation: Increasing ecosystem health with fungi"
David Demarest will provide an overview of materials and methods that
improve the capacity of fungi to positively affect their environment. A
brief overview of research detailing the ability of fungi to breakdown
unseen toxic substances such as DDT all the way up to concrete will be
provided. The hands on portion of this workshop will focus on managing for
optimal soil health and diversity. Information on books, internet resources
and testing services will be available for participants to continue learning
after the workshop.
Cost: $50

Time: 10 a.m. sharp to 3 p.m.
