Meet the Living Herbs; A plant walk w/ Lisa Ganora. 

June 14th, Noon-3pm 

$15-$25, sliding scale.  

 

The Appalachian region is home to a wonderful diversity of nutritional,
tonic, and medicinal plants. Join Lisa at the Botanical Gardens to discuss
traditional and ethnobotanical plant uses along with their roles in
contemporary botanical medicine. In addition, learn to safely avoid
poisonous plants and evaluate others through smell, taste, and knowledge of
their characteristic constituents.
