The Symposium is co-sponsored by the Appalachian Center for
Ethnobotanical Studeis, a consortium of the University of Maryland
Biotechnology Institute, Frostburg State University, and West Virginia
University.
A diverse audience is anticipated for this symposium: Panel sessions
will address medicinal plants from the perspectives of producers,
conservationists, herbal medicine practitioners, medical researchers,
and folklorists.
Special student registration rates are available.
