it on their website,

older issues.]

Dear Subscribers:

Attached is the August 05 issue of The Herbal Dispatch, the newsletter of
the Medicinal Botanicals Program at Mountain State University.

This is the second issue we dedicate to advertise the Fourth Annual
Medicinal Plant Symposium organized jointly by the Mountain State
University Medicinal Botanicals Program and the USDA/ARS Appalachian
Farming Systems Research Center. Please put attention to the program of the
symposium because it has had a few changes.

The Program has sessions dedicated to utilization of medicinal plants,
marketing, and non-timber forest products, and should be of interest to
Master Gardeners, Foresters, and health practitioners. CEUs will be
available. Registration for the general public is $80 and $30 for master
gardeners and students. Please help us advertise this event.

This issue includes also the articles “Goldenseal–Propagation, Harvesting,
Cleaning and Drying”, “Appalachian Plant Profile: Sweet Joe-Pye-Weed”,
“NEJM Publishes Study on Low-Dose Echinacea for Colds”, and “2005 American
Ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) Harvest.

Thank you and enjoy the newsletter.
