Infection?
I agree with some of the suggestions and could throw out some more but I
also wonder a lot more about the infection. Dental infections can be
extremely painful and some very dangerous. I sympathize with you. Is it
that the infection is reoccurring after taking antibiotics? What is the
nature of the infection? I have known clients who have gone on for years
with reoccurant infections because they didn't want to go get dental work,
or couldn't afford it. Luckily, I live near Mexico.
Anyway, I am just trying to point out there are perhaps 30 or so plants I
can think of off the top of my head that could be helpful but to be able to
fit the perfect combination together depends more on knowing the history and
nature of the infection and the person.
Good luck with the suggestions.
Instead of goldenseal, you could also try and number of Berberis species.
>From what I know of mouth infections, Berberis spp(which you may know has
one of the same chemicals as Goldenseal) is very effective and has helped
and healed clients and colleagues of mine. I use Bursera (NA native myrhh)
with a Berberis of my region along with some Desert Ratany(Krameria sp.).
The Desert Ratany is great for long term use. I usually make a mouth wash
with peppermint, ratany, stevia, and a bit of Bursera.
I love Prickly ash as well, just haven't tried it out with my clients yet,
haven't wildcrafted enough of it.....
