<p><span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">Hello all, An intersting discussion was recently spurred in a plant genetics course I am taking. We were discussing anthocyanin production in plants in relation to pigmentation and I mentioned that I have noticed this "reddening"
of stems in cheat grass communities. I was under the impression that this was a result of climatic conditions i.e. cold spring, and maybe present throughout growth cycle. Some preliminary research I've done suggest phosphorpous deficiency.<br>
Any thoughts. or supporting info ? <br>
