individuals (Landscape Architects and Engineers) in various operations and
policy groups within NYSDOT that are doing good work in this
area. Much more needs to be done but NYSDOT Environmental Procedures
Manual has sections that demonstrate commitment to invasive species management
and control issues. NYSDOT is an active member of the NYS Invasive

is also a partner with the Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program

deserves much credit for mobilizing public and private sector resources and
