Conservation X Labs is launching the second round of the Con X Tech Prize
to incentivize the next generation of solutions to invasive species
challenges.

If you’re not already familiar with invasives, it may not be super clear
where to start. Many of the challenges with invasive species are specific
to the region, and to the particular species that has been introduced.

To help kickstart your thinking, Con X is launching a webinar series on
invasives and innovation. This series will provide a treasure trove of
information, including:

*Invasion vs. Innovation*

-- Invasive species in a nutshell, how we’re currently fighting them, and
the future of invasive tech.

February 20

*How to solve a problem like…*

-- A toolkit on how to understand a problem, identify an opportunity, and
generate new solutions.

In the first webinar tomorrow, February 20, at 2pm EST, take a whirlwind
tour of the current landscape of invasive species ecology, how they spread,
and how innovation can be used to halt them in their tracks. This is aimed
specifically at a non-expert audience to make it approachable for the
engineers, entrepreneurs, marketers, makers, and innovators who want to
develop new solutions in the war against invasive species.
