Dear APWG Subscribers,

In western Massachusetts, we have a three-acre site of hardy kiwi that is
spreading and taking down canopy trees, with new patches starting in the
vicinity. The Massachusetts Invasive Plant Advisory Group needs to
evaluate this species for listing purposes. Any data and observations that
you may have from your area would be greatly appreciated. Of course, hard
data is most valuable, but anecdotal information would also be of interest.
Helpful information would include: nearest town, size of infestation, and
type of habitat and species impacted. Also, is it invading disturbed or
undisturbed habitat, jumping spatial gaps, in one patch or multiple
patches?

Photos would also be helpful, but my email can’t handle large files. If
you have photos to share, I can give you instructions when you contact me.

Please send the information to:

Thank you!
