Strike Team aims to halt invasive flora and fauna

New Jersey is being invaded.
Scores of non-native plant, animal and pathogen species are finding
their way into local woodlands, parks and waterways, posing a risk to
native populations and playing havoc with delicate natural ecosystems.
Invasive species are said to be a serious threat to biodiversity,
second only to outright habitat destruction.
In response to this critter crisis, the New Jersey Invasive Species
Strike Team has been established statewide to help combat invasive
species as they appear.
