IPCBC's Annual Public Forum and AGM, Shutting Out Invaders, will be held
from January 24th to 26th 2012, at the Delta Vancouver Airport Hotel in
Richmond, BC. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to network with other
invasive species specialists. Register by November 30th, 2011, to take
advantage of early-bird rates*!

The theme of this forum is early detection, and rapid response (EDRR) to
invasive species, including how to change public behaviour. Featuring
guest speakers from Texas, Nova Scotia, Oregon, and across BC, the agenda
will include talks about early invaders, programs that change behaviour,
and successes and lessons learned.

If you are interested in showcasing your organization with a booth or
poster, please check the appropriate box on the registration form and
include the additional fee with your forum registration form. Space is
limited to 15 displays.

Register for the post-forum workshop on January 26th, 2012, Monitoring
Effectiveness and Measuring Success. This workshop will enable invasive
species groups from across BC to work collaboratively to determine how to
monitor the effectiveness of their respective and collective programs.
Effectiveness monitoring program coordinators from across North America
will help guide the group, and will provide their insights into key program
components and pitfalls. Stay tuned for more details.
