Hi,

I'm still cautious about this due to number of native swallow-worts
(Cynanchum sp.) including the honeyvine (C. laeve) in our area; some
species are very localized and rare. The list of species tested for feeding
is not provided and they say "most native species" were tested. It would be
very helpful to have more information about how different (chemically) the
exotics are from our native species. It will be interesting to see how the
field trials go. If it proves to be really really specific to these exotic
species, then it could be an extremely useful tool against these rapidly
spreading and difficult to control vines.

[Vincetoxicum is a synonym of Cynanchum]

Thank you,
