Weevils dispatched to fight invasive lake plant

WOODVILLE, Texas -- Thousands of tiny beetle-like insects were stirred 
into an East Texas lake on Wednesday, and state officials hope the bugs 
are hungry: they're being used to fight a quick-growing exotic plant 
carpeting patches of water and threatening to erase all life underneath.
