The Midwest Invasive Plant Network and Cleveland Metroparks are pleased to
announce a Northeast Ohio Cooperative Weed Management Workshop to be held
on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at North Chagrin Reservation. This one day
workshop introduces CWMAs and provides valuable advice and experience on
how to organize, develop, and benefit from cross-boundary cooperation and
shared resources. Speakers will present experiences from well-established
cooperative weed management areas, news about up-and-coming cooperative
projects, and other ways of collaborating in challenging economic times.
Breakout discussions will allow participants to share ideas about how local
CWMAs could help solve the invasive plant problems common to our region.

See the attached agenda for details. North Chagrin Reservation is located
in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, near the intersection of Interstates 90 and 271,

The workshop is made possible by a grant from the USFS State & Private
Forestry program. Registration is free, but space is limited. To register,
