I've given David the link to the APWG English Ivy fact sheet and also its
entry in WeedUS, but if anyone else has information for him please email
him directly (address below).

We are working on an article about the invasiveness of English ivy. The
article will include information about locations in North America where
ivy has become invasive, statistics or studies that indicate the extent
of damage ivy does (and/or cost of controlling or removing it),
suggestions for prevention and control of English ivy in wild areas and
gardens, and suggestions for alternatives to English ivy in gardens.
The article is intended primarily for home gardeners with the intent of
making them aware of the invasive potential of English ivy and
encouraging them to seek out alternatives (tailored to different regions
of the country).

PCA list members should contact me off list if they have experience
relating to English ivy or can suggest resources.

Sincerely,
