Hi all,
DNR's Landowner Incentive Program staff and I are trying to put together a
bulk printing order for the marvelous booklet Plant Invaders of the
Mid-Atlantic.  Linh Phu has a quote from DeVilbiss Printing of $10,000 for
5000 copies and $13,200 for 10,000.  She is trying to collect enough
interested parties to order 10,000.  DNR can receive and distribute them.
The Mid-Atlantic Exotic Pest Plant Council is ordering some.  If you or
your organization are interested, please contact Linh Phu at
lphu at dnr.state.md.us or 410/260-8554.  The booklet is available on line (
http://www.nps.gov/plants/alien/pubs/midatlantic/) , but the printed
version is a great giveaway at public events, booths and presentations.  If
I remember correctly from the last time I bought some, they come shipped
100 to a box.  $132.00 for a box is a great deal!
