OSU Museum of Biological Diversity - annual lecture and Open House.

The lecture will be Friday February 8, 2008 at 7:00 PM in Independence
Hall, room 100.

The speaker is Dr. Daniel Simberloff of the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville.

The title of his talk is "Biological Invasions: A global threat, but
winnable war."

Independence Hall is at the corner of 17th and Neil Avenue on campus.
Suggested parking would be in the Tuttle Park Garage (just east of Ohio
Stadium).

The Open House is Saturday February 16, 2008 at the Museum of Biological
Diversity, 1315 Kinnear Road (west of Kenny Road).

The Open House is scheduled from 10:00AM to 4:00PM.

The theme is Invasive Aliens and the exhibits will emphasize the bad and
the good among the 'aliens' that have moved into North America. There
is plenty of free parking.
