Another important consideration is to interrupt the reproductive cycle.
(Late?) summer may be preferable in northern FL before spores mature.  As
JCF marches down the state, it seems to mature earlier in the year.  It
will be interesting to see the results of Patrick Minogue.  We also need
research sites in central or south-central FL to see how results differ
with treatment in northern FL.  I saw similar treatment success in the
Lygodium sites I reviewed.  See
