[APWG] Is Senecio vulgaris (common groundsel) invasive in natural areas?

While I worked as a botanist for the BLM out of Eugene, Oregon during
the 1990's, I used to see this weed pretty much everywhere especially
along roadsides and in clear-cut timber units in the Coast Range
Mountains.

Yes, Senecio vulgaris is common in natural lands of the San Joaquin
Valley, 
California, and has been for at least the 15 years I've lived here.
