The Washington DC Metro Chapter of the Association for Women in Science
is organizing "Mentoring: Making the Most of Scientists," a day-long
symposium on mentoring that will take place this Saturday, March 25th
during the Washington Academy of Sciences' Capital Science 2006 at the NSF
Conference facility in Arlington, VA.

The symposium will consist of interactive presentations by three
mentor-mentee pairs focused on mentoring at the graduate student,
postdoctoral, and professional levels, and a separate panel
to discuss mentoring at the institutional level. Networking is encouraged!

Online registration is at the Washington Academy of Sciences' website
(http://www.washacadsci.org). The cost is modest, and students pay only
$25. Members of the Washington Academy of Sciences or any of its
affiliates enjoy discounted rates.

For more information or to obtain a flier for posting or distribution
please contact me at esjf at cox.net.

Thank you,

Ester Sztein, Ph.D.
