Seasonal Field Botanists Needed

The Student Conservation Association is now hiring seasonal field
botanists to lead teams of 3 young adult volunteers to collect native
seeds for the Bureau of Land Management.

Staff positions will be based out the following BLM field offices: Twin
Falls, ID; Hollister, CA; and Baker City, OR. Positions start on March
20, 2006 and end September 1, 2006. Salary is $500/week with benefits.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year experience leading groups
of young adults in field settings; at least one year of project
management; and a strong background in field botany. Familiarity with
the local flora is highly desired.
