The International Association for Great Lakes Research invites you to
participate in the 50th Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research, to be
held May 28 - June 1, 2007, at Penn State in University Park, Pa.

Pennsylvania Sea Grant will chair a session on “Challenges and Successes
for Addressing Aquatic Invasive Species in the Great Lakes and Inland
Waters.”  This session will highlight both tools and programs being
developed and research being conducted to prevent the introduction and
control the spread of aquatic invasive species around the Great Lakes
states and provinces.

If you are involved in conducting programs, developing tools, or conducting
research related to AIS prevention and control, we invited you to submit an
abstract for consideration to this session.  Depending on the number of
abstracts received and the time available, we may request that some
abstracts submitted as oral presentations be moved to the poster session.
To that end, we further request that only one abstract be submitted per
senior author.  The abstract deadline is January 11, 2007.

abstracts for specific session topics but also will consider general
contributions.  Contact information for session chairs and descriptions of
the proposed sessions are available online. Depending on the number of
abstracts received and on the time and space available, proposed sessions
may be combined or additional sessions arranged.
