Dear All,

Another National Park is getting a "Taste of the Mustard" for the first
time, this year---GRAND CANYON---a report from Dan Hall:

"[The exotic invasive Brassica tournefortii], spotted it at Lee's Ferry
3 seasons ago. Unfortunately, it is under someone else's jurisdiction
(who by his own admission does not really care about the weeds) the
ecologist at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

"If I were to guess I would say the infestation is more than 100 acres
but less than 500....maybe 1000 if accounting for seed distribution
area. My wife who is a botanist and working as a biotech for Revege with
Lori was the first to spot it in the Canyon at mile 6 wash this year."
