    The National Network of Forest Practitioners’ (NNFP) 15th Annual
Meeting, “Sustaining Rural Communities in a Changing World: A Holistic
Perspective” will explore regional and national efforts to maintain,
restore and preserve rural communities and working landscapes.
Practitioners will gather in Burr Oak State Park in Glouster, Ohio from
September 7-10, 2005. Organizers anticipate well over one hundred people
from all over the country will gather for this important community
forestry event.  We hope you will be one of them!  Topics of interest
include:


Invasive Plants: Intro to the Issue and Strategies for Control
Forest Polices that Reflect Our Values
Youth and Leadership
Sustainable Forest Income
Non-Timber Forest Products
Watershed and Community Revitalization
Grant Writing

    If you are interested in attending the NNFP Annual Meeting, this
message is a reminder that you have until August 5th to guarentee your
room reservation at Burr Oak State Park.  (Meeting registrations will be
accepted until the start of the meeting)  If you plan to stay at the
