Please help to distribute and/or post the following National Park
Service job announcements for seasonal crew member position openings
with the Northern Rocky Mountain Exotic Plant Management Team (EPMT),
stationed at Craters of the Moon National Monument (Arco, ID),
Glacier National Park (West Glacier, MT) and Yellowstone National
      Park (Yellowstone, WY).

Currently we are advertising for six Team Member positions (two each
located at Craters of the Moon, Glacier and Yellowstone) as
biological or forestry science technicians (GS-0404-4/5 or
GS-0462-04/06) and one Team Leader position located at Yellowstone as
a biological science technician (GS-0404-6/7). The EPMT work is
on-site at any of fifteen national parks in Montana, Idaho, Utah and
Wyoming. A majority of work is away from the assigned duty station,
entailing multiple nights per week away from home with per deim paid
      by the program.

These positions require a high level of physical exertion. Daily
tasks include about site monitoring (forestry/botanical field survey,
      GPS and GIS
documentation, data entry into electronic databases, and data
analysis) and exotic plant control (hand cutting, hand pulling,
cutting with power tools, and herbicide application). Incumbents
should be unafraid to work in remote settings where poisonous
vegetation, insects and other wildlife are present. Come experience
the wonderful biodiversity and incredible beauty of the Northern
Rockies working for the National Park Service.
