Vacancy - Invasive Species Officer/Advisor, Pacific
The Pacific needs a new person to lead the region's invasive species
effort. Based at the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Programme
headquarters in Samoa, the position assists 21 Pacific Island countries
and
territories
to be able to address their invasive species issues. The position is
very
much a programme management and networking position, enjoying close
relationships with all the key players in the invasive field at
international, regional and national levels relevant to the Pacific, and
chairing the regional Invasive Species Working Group and finding the
resources to ensure the implementation of the Pacific Regional Invasive
Species Strategy.
