RESPONSIBILITIES: This
position facilitates,
expedites and
coordinates aquatic
invasive species
program and policy
activities and
decisions within the
Fisheries Section and
externally with other
state and federal
government agencies,
elected officials,
businesses,
individuals, cities
and citizen groups.
MIN QUALS: A
baccalaureate degree
in fisheries
management, biology,
or a related field,
plus three years of
experience ( or
equivalent graduate
degree and
experience). Working
knowledge of college
level statistics and
mathematics, state and
federal laws
pertaining to fish and
wildlife and aquatic
invasive species, and
computers and relevant
software. Ability to
communicate
effectively, establish
and maintain sound
working relationships
individuals, groups
and agencies, and
ability to organize,
implement and evaluate
many diverse
activities within the
program.
